Waitrose set out to tender the redesign of their in-house magazine design: The Chronicle. We were delighted to be chosen. The brief required a complete redesign, a new master head, layout and concept to look more friendly and approachable. Templated master artwork for their designers to follow.
The old format was tired, boxy, and too structured, so we produced a very adaptable flexible grid so each page could easily allow for more white space and room to play with imagery and typography.
